Karen Rands has over 20 years’ experience as a solicitor in the fields of conveyancing, leases, commercial law, litigation, Court matters, criminal law, wills, enduring guardians, enduring powers of attorney, estate work, family provision claims, and has extensive experience as a family lawyer. Karen practices in property matters, defacto matters, parenting matters, child support matters, domestic violence matters and legal aid matters.
Karen has appeared in numerous cases in Local Courts around New South Wales, the Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Courts and Family Court in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle and various other Circuit and District Courts as well as the Court of Appeal.
Karen will provide experienced, caring and dedicated legal work for all clients.
Karen Rands was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia, to practice as a solicitor in 1998 after obtaining her Diploma of Law through the Legal Practitioners Admission Board.
Karen has practiced as a solicitor in Batemans Bay, Moruya, Tamworth and now Cootamundra.
Prior to that, Karen lived in Temora where she worked in a legal practice as a paralegal, before taking the next step to obtain her legal qualifications.
